Hitched is my most recent commission for giant mountain publishing. Here I illustrated seven panels for the different chapters headings, index page and introduction page, as well as the front and back cover. The illustrations are outlined in brown ink and coloured with layered watercolours. When painting and working on the illustrations I tried to capture the love, friendship and fun in a relationship and joy of work together in the kitchen. I tried to capture the emotion the author wanted to be woven into the delicious recipes.
