watercolour memories

Have a memory captured in a watercolour illustration. From a travel photo, family portrait, wedding photo or event. I will create a painting based on your special photo.

The price will vary depending on the size, structure, how many people are in one illustration etc. As a starting point for an A5 commission (with one to two people) its 60 euros. (worldwide shipping is included). See some examples of previous commissions below. I work in semi-realistic stylised style.

My normal time frame for a commission is ten working days and all payments will be made via PayPal.

How does the commission process work?

  • First things first, send me a message via the contact form, with some information about the photo you would like me to illustrate and any other details (for example the illustration size you’d like). I will also need a reasonably high-resolution copy of the photo you’d like painted.

  • I will get back to you a soon as possible with a quote and then if you agree we can move ahead.

  • You will then receive a sketch to approve within three working days, At this stage, you can request up to two adjustments to the composition.

  • Once you are happy, I will start the painting process, once complete I will send you a digital image of the finished work and an invoice via PayPal.  Once I’ve received the final payment, I will ship your finished illustration to you.

This is just a general outline to give you an idea of how it works. It can vary depending on the size and complexity of your project. I enjoy capturing memories in watercolour and look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to ask any questions!
